Since the publication of The Assassin’s Protégé, a lot of readers have said that it should be a movie. Certainly, it would fit nicely with today’s thriller movie category. In The Assassin’s Protégé, Ainsley Jarred is innocently and unwittingly drawn into a net of espionage. A strong and capable woman, she is unprepared for the emotional and physical pain and brutality she will experience as the story evolves. Ultimately, she maintains her humanity but is transformed into a deadly and formidable adversary. If John Wick, Jack Reacher, or Jason Bourne had a sister, she would be Ainsley Jarred!
Who knows? We may see Ainsley on the movie screen someday. The screenplay is currently being written—not by me, but by someone who understands that process. Wish us luck!
